Powder coated perforated mesh ceiling process

Perforated metal, also known as perforated sheet, perforated plate, or perforated screen, is sheet metal that has been manually or mechanically stamped or punched to create a pattern of holes, slots, or decorative shapes. Materials used to manufacture perforated metal sheets include stainless steel, cold rolled steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, and more. And if classified by function, perforated mesh can be used as Perforated Filter Mesh, Perforated Fence Mesh, Perforated Grating, Perforated Facade Mesh, Perforated Ceiling Mesh and so on. Today we will introduce the production process of the powder coated perforated mesh ceiling.


As suspended celing mesh, customer always choose aluminum material, Thickness can be 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm or 2.5mm. Because we need bend it after perforating, we usually use Turret punching machine to punch the perforated ceiling mesh. Thus we can finish punching the hole and cutting the outline of the mesh panel by one time.

After punching, the second process is bending, for hook-on type suspended ceiling, there are totally three different patterns of the bending design, depends on the different position installed on the ceiling.

Generally before production, we have to get the drawing of the whole ceiling structure, customer always ignore the difference of the different bending pattern. And this is when we need to offer our professional help, we will help customer calculate how many pieces each pattern requires, to ensure each pieces of the mesh will be inatalled perfectly.


After bending the last step is Powder coating, the most popular color customer choose for ceiling is White, Black, and Grey.
